Not long ago I wrote a post on how to achieve your goals, with a free goal setting sheet. To grow a business or a life you love you need to create goals and plan how to reach them. Which also means to achieve any goals you need to create a plan, and most importantly do the work. Here’s the truth. It’s not easy. You have to choose. You have to spend time working out your goals, planning and scheduling the work. Then you have to do it. There’s no short cuts here. So I have decided to … [Read more...] about August Monthly Goals
Phil and I left the UK on the 19th March 2017. Travelling from Suffolk to the Netherlands on an overnight ferry, as the first leg of our Road To Happiness Expedition. I am writing this sat on a high speed train from St Petersburg to Moscow. Which completes after one hundred days travelling across Europe on boat, train and coach. Ok, I KNOW I KNOW. Before I begin, I know the word TRIBE is overused in the adventure community. Unfortunately the overuse of some words on the internet, just well, happen. I blame Seth Godin. Part of my story began when I left/ quit my first 'proper' job after University and became self-employed, when I had no money or idea what I was going to do. I was definitely … [Read more...] about 10 Reasons to Quit your Job
Before I start: this is a long post, and a story of my personal finance Debt / journey / nightmare / plan. It's not professional advice, just things that worked for me. It's the story of how it took me ten years to sort my life out. For full disclosure, I also did some budget travel during this period, because it's the one thing that makes me feel alive. If I had stuck more rigidly to the rules maybe it would have happened faster, who knows? Lets go back 10 Years. I owe £20,000. I … [Read more...] about How I got out of £20,000 Debt and Travel the World Full Time.
