Phil and I left the UK on the 19th March 2017. Travelling from Suffolk to the Netherlands on an overnight ferry, as the first leg of our Road To Happiness Expedition. A two day travel festival held at the Royal Geographical Society, what's not to love! I found the Steppes Travel Festival online, and after scanning quickly saw the wealth of talks and workshops at the event. I eagerly bought myself a ticket for the Sunday schedule, titled 'Beyond The Ordinary'. I'd never been to the RGS before and have been toying with the idea of buying myself membership. At the beginning of 2014 I was lucky enough to head over to Iceland with some friends. We spent a week exploring in and around Reykjavik. Usually I'm too busy 'doing' to take pictures and videos of my trips, which is a shame as it's a great way to keep a memory alive. I did manage to get some footage so I created the below video.
