We believe experiencing different countries and culture is a way to discover more about ourselves and how to make the world a better place.
We create small group travel experiences that are designed to give you the time to focus on yourself and your business while you explore the world.
After spending years travelling and working abroad, we know the most prized and useful thing, both professionally and personally, is the meaningful relationships we make with the people we meet. Betternotstop understand the importance of connection and how that increases the value of what we do and how we do it.
It’s people not platforms which make a business. Which is why, rather than focusing on social media channels, we focus on social change.
We want a better World
We are committed to the 1% for the Planet Movement. We give 1% of gross sales each year to approved nonprofit partners through a variety of support.
As a member of Amnesty International we do not promote tourism in countries with major human rights violations.
We offset our carbon emissions by planting trees.
We pay all our staff (including interns!) the Living Wage.
We are in the process of applying for B Corp Status, to ensure we aim to meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.
We are committed to ensuring we practice sustainable travel practices:
• The ecological pillar: We conserve the natural environment of the destination you visiting by offsetting our carbon emissions by planting trees.
• The economic pillar: We support local businesses and encourage trade between countries.
• The social pillar: We support cultural projects and attractions.
Our Company name came from a conversation Hannah had with her Dad before he passed away in 2011. Before he died, he told her not to settle and never stop pursuing her dreams, and betternotstop was born.
She has been writing, speaking and organising events under the name ‘betternotstop’ while also working full time in the events industry since then, while travelling extensively.
In 2017, Hannah and her partner backpacked overland through 18 countries on an adventure from England to Bhutan on an Expedition called 'Road To Happiness', to discover and document what makes people happy.
While working remotely on this trip she spotted a gap in the travel market to make travel easier and stress-free for business owners, and create a business for good. On returning home she started working on betternotstop full time, launching in 2019.
